Seas Would Rise When I Gave The Word.

Phew, finally made some time, or should I say I’m bothering to update the journal! Its been about two thirds of a year since the last time I updated. I didn’t cark it, I still managed to find time every second day or so to pop on and see how you guys were going . Anyway, guess its time to fill in with latest events, and maybe even get some artworks happening again.

Supanova 2009
Well, about 3 weeks or so ago was the Nerd/Geek convention Supanova! Located at the Melbourne Showgrounds, it was a fun filled two days of…nerd. While somewhat lacking in otaku/anime interested attendees, most of the shops were selling anime merchandise. I did Cosplay on the weekend as Zero from Code Geass, which was somewhat fun. There’s nothing like having lots of photos taken of you, getting glomped out of the blue, and being proposed to…man the people you meet at conventions are so friendly. To those who have a convention coming up in the near future, I do recommend cosplaying as a character of some sort, it amplifies the fun! Vic Mongolia, the voice actor for Ed Elric from Full Metal Alchemist (which I haven’t actually watched ) and many other shows, made an appearance. He’s a extremely friendly guy, had a nice chat with him. Oh gee, I spent about $320 this time around, it seems the damage I’m doing to my bank account is getting bigger and bigger each convention I go too xD. Other than that, there was some what lack of general American nerdy things for a convention that claimed to feature both types of nerd. Overall it was a fun weekend, the highlight was meeting many different types of people. They are all so friendly. Supanova isn’t is good as Manifest though.

General Things
Well, as you’ve probably guessed, I haven’t been very active lately…at all. I still found time to pop on and see how everyone was going though, and I must say, wow, you guys have progressed so much, you’ve left me in the dust! However, I shall try and get some sort of “artworks” done, perhaps just some practices in first, get that good old drawing hand working again (mainly Clannad related arts), and maybe some drawing tablet works, just for fun. Odds are I’ll be travelling to Japan at the end of the year as an exchange student, which will be extremely scary, but so worth it. Just thinking about it gives me tingles
-_-. Not much has been happening in terms of life , works a pain in the bum, and then when I feel as though I should update dA, I always get distracted >_<.

Anyway that’s enough from me for now, I don’t feel as though I have anything else to say T_T, but ill be around more often now , or at least try!
